Position Title:Warranty, Claims and Dispute Management Program Specialist
Location: Oshawa, ON (on-site)
Structure: Contract 18 months to start
Pay:$88.00 - $96.00 p/h inc. + HST

Deliverables
- Design and implement an enterprise-wide warranty, claims, and dispute management program, including processes, governance, and reporting frameworks.
- Administer warranty claims and disputes by interpreting and applying contract provisions, supporting operations during equipment or system failures.
- Develop documentation and deliverables such as defective work notices, financial impact assessments, settlement agreements, and executive-level reporting.
- Collaborate with operations, asset management, contract management, and risk teams to integrate the program into enterprise systems and support modernization initiatives.
Experience Required
- 1015 years of experience in claims, disputes, contract management, or supply chain roles within large, construction or infrastructure-focused organizations.
- Strong expertise in interpreting and applying contract provisions, including drafting legal and commercial documentation for disputes and settlements.
- Extensive knowledge and practical application of Ontarios Construction Act (Ontario).
- Educational background in law, paralegal studies, contract management, or a related discipline (e.g., Certified Contract Management Professional).
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with experience working across enterprise functions; experience in energy, utilities, or public sector environments considered an asset.
