Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our growing professional cleaning team. This role focuses on residential, commercial, post-construction, and post-occupancy cleaning projects, ensuring properties are spotless, safe, and move-in ready. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and takes pride in high-quality results. Prior cleaning experience is preferred, but we provide full training for motivated individuals. This position offers opportunities for growth into team lead and supervisor roles.
Responsibilities
Perform residential and commercial cleaning tasks, including post-construction and post-occupancy cleanups
Remove dust, debris, and construction residues using professional cleaning tools and equipment
Use hand tools, power tools, vacuums, pressure washers, and commercial cleaning equipment safely
Clean floors, walls, windows, fixtures, kitchens, bathrooms, and high-touch surfaces to company standards
Move furniture, appliances, and supplies safely when required (heavy lifting involved)
Follow detailed checklists to ensure high-quality and consistent results
Handle and store cleaning chemicals according to safety protocols and WHMIS guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of company equipment and vehicles
Report damages, issues, or supply shortages to supervisors
Provide professional and respectful service when interacting with clients on-site
Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
Qualifications
Previous residential, commercial, or post-construction cleaning experience preferred (training provided)
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, procedures, and safety protocols is an asset
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is an asset (if you want mobile crews)
