Responsibilities
- Deliver professional haircuts, styling, and grooming services tailored to each client's preferences and needs
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Engage with clients through effective communication to understand their desired look and provide expert recommendations
- Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out procedures, and maintaining client records
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere by providing excellent customer service and building strong client relationships
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barber or Stylist with a strong portfolio of work. Preferably 1-3 years of experience.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of hair styling techniques, and current trends in grooming
- Ability to upsell retail products in a professional manner that benefits both the client and the business
- Strong communication skills to ensure clear understanding of client needs and preferences
