The Corporation of the City of North Bay is currently accepting applications for the position of Utility Tractor Operator within the Parks Department.

Reporting to the Parks Supervisor or designate, the Utility Tractor Operator is responsible for operating a utility tractor equipped with various attachments to support seasonal parks maintenance activities. Key duties include beach grooming, turf and leaf raking, ballfield dragging, grass cutting, aeration, fertilization, snow removal, and outdoor rink maintenance.

The position also involves performing minor maintenance on tractors and related equipment, as well as completing a variety of general labour tasks as required.

Qualifications

Grade 10 Education or equivalent acceptable experience.
Six (6) months experience in the operation of a utility tractor.
Demonstrated ability in the operation of a Skidsteer.
Applicants may be subject to written and vehicle operations testing.
Must be able to take instructions and carry them out without supervision.
Must hold a valid Ontario Class "D" Driver's License with "Z" endorsement.
