Metergy office location is in Markham but will be moving to North York in Fall 2026!

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer & Front-End Developer who thrives at the intersection of design and technology, and who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

Design & User Experience

• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that reflect user needs and business goals.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure design consistency and accessibility.

Front-End Development

• Integrate front-end components with backend APIs and services.

Backend Collaboration

• Understand backend architecture to support seamless integration.
• Partner with backend engineers to define API contracts and troubleshoot issues.
• Contribute to technical discussions and code reviews.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.
• Proven track record of developing customer-facing web applications.
• Experience developing a front end to match a provider’s OpenAPI / Swagger contract.
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
• Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with backend technologies and RESTful APIs.
• A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.

$80,000 - $100,000 a year
