What Youll Be Working On
- Leadingand overseeingall aspects of store operations, including sales performance, team development,merchandising,andguestexperience.
- Coaching, mentoring, and inspiringyour team to meet and exceed individual and store-wide goals.
- Fosteringa positive, inclusive, and high-performing work culture rooted in QE Homes values.
- Deliveringexceptionalguestservice and product knowledge while leading by example on the sales floor.
- Ensuringvisual merchandising standards are executed consistently and creatively.
- Actively recruitingand consistently seekingout top talent, building and maintaining a strong, high-performing team.
- Leadingperformance management by setting clear expectations, delivering regular feedback, and holding team members accountable to achieve individual andteam success.
- Managing theschedule, budgeting, and inventory control with accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitoringkey performance indicators (KPIs) and usinginsights to drive business growth.
- Upholdinghealth, safety, and loss prevention standards in accordance with company policiesand procedures.
The Physical Side of the Role
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to shift, push, reach, stretch, twist, bend, pull or maneuver weight over 50 lbs. to fold, stock and build or display merchandise. In addition, you may be required to change beds including moving a mattress to put on a bed skirt.
- Comfortable climbingladders formerchandising and stock.
What Will Set You Up for Success
- 3-5years of retail experience; minimum 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- A passionandpreviousexperience inhome dcor,fashion retail, and creating memorableguestexperiences.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales and buildingguestloyalty.
- Ability to lead teams to exceed all sales and profit goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative leadership style.
- Experience with POS systems, visual merchandising, inventory management, and scheduling.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- A hands-on approach to leadership,youre not afraid to jump in and work alongside your team.
- A solution focused mindset with the ability to see obstacles as opportunities.
