About the role
We're hiring a Senior Security Analyst to protect ThreatAware from the inside. You'll work across vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response — keeping our internal systems and cloud infrastructure secure. You report to the Head of Security and help maintain the security standards we hold ourselves to. You'll play a key part in keeping our security posture sharp as we scale.
What you'll do
Keep ThreatAware's internal security posture tight across systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Run vulnerability management across infrastructure, applications, and endpoints — assess, prioritise, remediate, and track.
- Design and maintain security monitoring and detection strategies using cloud-native tools and threat intelligence feeds.
- Support incident response: maintain playbooks, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive post-incident improvements.
- Secure and harden our cloud infrastructure (AWS), including IAM, networking, and containerised workloads.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security thinking into how we build and deploy.
What we're looking for
- Significant hands-on experience in security operations, threat analysis, or vulnerability management.
- Strong cloud security knowledge (AWS, Azure, or equivalent) with experience across containerised applications and IAM frameworks.
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms, threat intelligence tools, and log analysis.
- Self-motivated and thorough — you can balance operational demands with longer-term security improvements.
- Excellent communicator. You can explain security concepts to both engineers and executives.
- A genuine passion for cybersecurity and a growth mindset — you thrive in a fast-moving company where priorities evolve.
