Job Description
We are looking for a dependable Part-time Ortho Registered Dental Assistant to join our orthodontic division at Valleyview Dental (in Town of Valleyview)!We are a focused on providing outstanding patient care. Our patients must be treated like family, and attention to detail to ensure patient comfort is necessary! We are fully digital (no more alginates!) and use indirect bonding systems and Invisalign to streamline treatment delivery. Experience with orthodontic appliances, iTero scanner, and twin brackets is required but training will our systems will be provided.
Work days are alternating Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, but can be negotiated. Short term contracts of 6 and 12 months can be offered, and if interested, a permanent position can be made available. The ability to travel to the town of Valleyview is required. Travel accommodations can be arranged based on working days and length of commitment.
Requirements:
Registered with CADA (College of Alberta Dental Assistants)
Orthodontic module with at least 1 year full time ortho experience
Must be computer proficient
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Caring and compassionate to patients
Ability to work well independently and with others
