Job description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager with deep expertise in food & beverage franchising. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence across our multi-brand franchise network through standardized systems, structured training programs, strong franchisee performance management, and cross-functional collaboration—particularly with Marketing to ensure successful campaign launches and measurable sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

Franchising Operations & Standardization

  • Develop, refine, and enforce standardized SOPs across all franchise locations.
  • Maintain and update comprehensive Operations Manuals and execution playbooks.
  • Ensure consistent brand standards and scalable operational processes across multiple brands.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement corrective action plans.

Franchisee Training & Development

  • Design and lead structured onboarding programs for new franchisees, including pre-opening and post-opening support.
  • Develop training modules covering operations, financial literacy, cost control, customer experience, and leadership development.
  • Implement ongoing continuing education programs and operational workshops.
  • Establish franchisee certification standards prior to store launch.
  • Measure training effectiveness through performance metrics and operational improvements.

  • Systems Implementation & Operational Infrastructure

  • Lead implementation and optimization of POS, inventory management, labor scheduling, and reporting systems.

  • Develop standardized KPI dashboards and performance scorecards for franchisees.
  • Drive adoption of digital tools and ensure proper system training.
  • Evaluate new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

  • Sales Growth, Marketing Execution & Franchisee Performance

  • Partner closely with the Marketing team to plan and execute national and regional campaigns.

  • Ensure operational readiness for promotional rollouts, including staffing, supply chain, and execution alignment.
  • Develop campaign execution checklists and rollout playbooks for franchisees.
  • Monitor store-level KPIs including sales, labor %, food cost %, and guest satisfaction.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Support franchisees with local marketing initiatives aligned with brand strategy.

  • Compliance, Auditing & Brand Protection

  • Conduct regular operational audits to ensure compliance with brand standards and food safety regulations.

  • Implement corrective action plans where necessary to protect brand integrity.
  • Ensure adherence to franchise agreements and operational policies.

  • New Store Openings & Expansion Support

  • Lead operational readiness planning for new franchise launches.

  • Oversee pre-opening training and grand opening execution support.
  • Provide post-opening performance stabilization plans to accelerate ramp-up.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of multi-unit operations experience, with minimum 2 years in food & beverage franchising.
  • Proven experience building franchise systems, training programs, and operational infrastructure.
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to interpret P&L statements and drive profitability.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing to execute campaigns.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, multi-brand franchising environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $68,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
