Utilize Canadian Language Benchmark tools to support individuals in finding suitable language training options in the community.As a Language Assessor, you will play a crucial part in the assessment and referral service model. Responsibilities include screening clients for eligibility, administering standardized tests, and conducting thorough needs assessments. You'll work with individuals to find the right language training that fits their goals, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for all clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer CLB standardized tests to assess clients
• Screen clients for language training eligibility
• Provide clients with information on training programs
• Maintain accurate data in the internal database
• Assist with outreach and promotion activities
Requirements:
• Training/certification in CLB assessments preferred
• Knowledge of second language acquisition principles
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Valid Ontario driver’s class G license is required
• Criminal Record Check must be provided
