Job Overview
- The Senior ServiceNow HR Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with a strong focus on Employee Center (EC) and integrations with systems like SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. This role ensures seamless employee experiences by configuring HR workflows, portals, and lifecycle events while adhering to best practices and security standards.
- Solution Design & Development
- Configure and customize HRSD modules: HR Case Management, Lifecycle Events, Employee Center/Employee Center Pro, and HR Knowledge Management.
- Develop self-service portals and widgets using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, and Service Portal framework.
- Implement automated workflows using Flow Designer, Workflow, and scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).
- Integration
- Integrate ServiceNow HRSD with SuccessFactors EC, Workday, or other HR systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
- Ensure accurate data exchange for job changes, onboarding/offboarding, and employee lifecycle events.
- Security & Compliance
- Configure role-based access controls and maintain data confidentiality for sensitive HR data.
- Testing & Documentation
- Conduct unit testing, UAT support, and maintain detailed technical documentation for configurations and integrations.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and platform architects to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with ServiceNow releases and implement new features like Virtual Agent, AI Search, and Performance Analytics.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience, with at least 3 years in HRSD and Employee Center.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, HRSD data model, and portal development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and Glide scripting.
- App Engine
- Hands‑on experience integrating ServiceNow with SuccessFactors EC or similar HR systems.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow HRSD Implementation Specialist (preferred).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
