Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of residential and commercial outdoor spaces. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, supporting various landscaping projects that require physical effort and technical skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Duties
- Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Operate equipment such as power tools, and hand tools to perform tasks efficiently
- Perform regular landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and weeding
- Support construction projects related to landscape design and installation
- Conduct general site cleanup and ensure safety standards are maintained during all activities
- Assist with soil preparation, grading, and other foundational work for landscaping projects
- Perform routine mechanical maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal operation
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with gardening, and horticulture practices
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and plant care
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining power tools and machinery
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in various outdoor conditions
- Strong physical stamina for manual labour tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Construction experience is a plus for supporting larger landscaping projects
- Good teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
