ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Automotive Journeyman Technician tojoin our team atRegina Honda. The successful candidate is someonewhois passionate about the automotive industry and eager to contribute to ourgrowing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a high qualityof workmanship, diagnostics and maintenance repair as per requiredstandards.
- Performing new vehiclePre-delivery inspection (PDI) to factory standards.
- Reporting all mechanicalor safety related deficiencies not noted on the repair order.
- Referring to imagesand/or videos provided by the customer or service advisor to assist inidentifying repairs needed.
- Performing road tests toidentify issues and subsequently confirms repairs are completed to asatisfactory level.
- Providing service advisorswith a summary of additional maintenance and/or required work that needsto be performed.
- Providing service advisorswith accurate parts and labour estimates through utilizing our dealershipsoftware.
- Accurately recording thecause and correction of the issue in our dealership software on customerrepair orders.
- Completing theTechnician portion and related inspection forms.
- Maintaining and followsmanufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
ABOUT YOU
- Automotive ServiceTechnician Trade certification. We would consider an outstanding 3rd or4th year Apprentice Technician with the right attitude and desire tolearn.
- Experience with Import,European or Luxury vehicles is an asset.
- You have a validDriver’s license and provide a clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Ability to carefully andsafely drive both standard and automatic vehicles.
- Ability to lift andcarry heavy items and equipment such as tires, tools and equipment.
- You have a growthmindset and are continuously innovating and developing your skills.
