Position Summary:

We are seeking HVAC Technicians to join our growing team in the Greater Toronto Area. The role involves assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and Refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent Ainsworth professionally and courteously on each call, serving as a proud ambassador for our company.
  • Read, interpret, create, and maintain drawings and specifications.
  • Install, overhaul, and service HVAC and refrigeration equipment and systems.
  • Repair and replace worn or broken parts on various components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system problems.
  • Install motors, thermostats, and humidistats.
  • Instruct customers on proper care and maintenance.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of apprentices.
  • Maintain knowledge of modern equipment and regulations.
  • Enforce safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform duties safely, adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Support administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Current Certificate of Qualification.
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and trade practices.
  • Understanding of HVAC/R codes and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
