Job Description:
- Check dozers, loaders, tractor trailers, dump trucks and other heavy equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools
- est repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
- Service attachments and working tools such as blades, ploughs, winches and side booms.
Skills & Experience Required:
- English speaking and French (optional)
- Journeyperson with valid red seal license.
- Organized, good with paperwork and used to a fast-paced environment
- Must possess a valid driver’s license minimum class 5 with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Own tools would be an asset
- Work in the field and Whitehorse, willingness to work in adverse weather conditions and travel to remote sites.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.

Salary: $45 to $60 per hour depending on experience and own tools.
Relocation: The company will cover reasonable expenses incurred for relocation to Whitehorse.
