The primary responsibility of all C.L.O.C. employees is ensuring that personal and organizational outcomes are achieved.
Under the general supervision of the Manager, Human Resources, the incumbent is responsible for providing guidance, support, and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of Human Resources department. Coordinator, Human Resources assists with administration including updating records, filing, training schedules, report processing, reference checking, and issuing of letters and contracts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure consistent and smooth flow of HR services to candidates, employees, students, volunteers and supervisors
Facilitate full cycle recruitment activities including creating postings, screening, scheduling and conducting interviews, selecting candidates, preparing offer packages and orientation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date files on all personnel ensuring security and confidentiality in co-operation with payroll such as position changes, salaries (changes), benefit (changes) and other related payroll information.
Maintain an accurate and current human resource database and provide documents and reports as required in support of personal and organizational outcome.
Generate reports from HRIS database as requested by the Manager and/or Director.
Support workforce in personnel relations, labour relations and coordinate issues and concerns with supervisors to effective & prompt resolution
Provide assistance/ back-up in the processing of payroll services as required, which adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and polices/practices of CLOC in a consistent manner.
Provide administrative assistance as required
Participate in committees as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A post-secondary diploma in Human Resources or equivalent acquired through an academic institution that is registered and regulated by the Ministry of Education.
Recent experience and relevant experience in a Human Resource environment
Knowledge: The incumbent should have knowledge of current government legislation pertaining to employment law and regulations. Possess strong computer skills in operating systems, word processors, databases and spreadsheets.
