Hiring rate: $59,740 - $63,300 Annual salary.

Success Criteria

• Has proven experience in large‑quantity food preparation and food purchasing, including financial planning.


• Has experience leading and inspiring a large food services team in a unionized environment.


• Is familiar with Ontario Food Premises Regulation, CCHSA, Ontario Long Term Care Facility Program manual, Long Term Care Homes Act, and OH&S Act.


• Is an active member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (C.S.N.M.).

Core Responsibilities

• Support and embrace our resident‑centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of hospitality services to our residents.


• Lead and support the food service team with hands‑on training, coaching and leadership while maintaining the food services department to exceed Public Health and Ministry of Health and Long‑Term Care standards.


• Ensure diet and nutritional requirements are met, complete regular assessments, plan and support catering functions, create an enhanced dining experience for our residents, and manage purchasing, department schedules, and payroll duties.
