Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fence Installer to join our construction team. This role involves installing various types of fencing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have experience working with hand tools and construction materials, along with a strong attention to detail and safety standards. This position offers opportunities for growth within the construction industry and requires a proactive approach to completing projects efficiently and accurately. All light, and heavy equipment supplied.
Responsibilities
- Measure and mark installation sites according to blueprints or schematics
- Dig post holes and set fence posts securely using appropriate tools and techniques
- Assemble fencing panels, gates, and related components with precision
- Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, levels, and caulking guns to ensure proper installation
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, or construction plans to meet project specifications
- Ensure all fencing installations comply with safety regulations and quality standards
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Assist in restoration or repair work as needed, including construction painting or plumbing tasks related to fencing projects
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools essential for fencing installation and general construction work
- Experience with construction, carpentry, or related trades preferred
