Job Description
Our client, a leading insurance brokerage in Toronto, is actively seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager with specialized expertise in construction risks. Compensation
- Base salary in the range of $75,000 to $120,000 commensurate with experience

Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture a portfolio of construction-focused commercial clients, ensuring retention and satisfaction
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for construction companies and recommend tailored insurance solutions
- Develop construction-specific account plans to identify cross-selling opportunities
- Prepare detailed quotes and coverage recommendations for construction risks, including specialized programs
- Negotiate coverage terms with underwriters
- Handle policy renewals, endorsements, and claims support with efficiency and professionalism
- Stay current on construction industry trends, emerging risks, and market developments
Qualifications
- Valid RIBO License (CAIB/CIP/CRM are nice to have)
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Commercial Account Manager with an exclusive focus on Construction risks
- Solid understanding of carrier/MGA guidelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organization skills
