The Opportunity


Build the future with us – This Engineering Graduate opportunity lets you shape the water infrastructure systems that communities rely on every day. You’ll join our structured, mentored 18‑month rotational program, gaining hands‑on project experience across three core Water & Wastewater disciplines: Conveyance (Linear Infrastructure), Hydraulic Modelling & Master Planning, and Vertical Infrastructure. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to meaningful design and field assignments, and help deliver innovative water solutions across Ontario and beyond.


Your Impact



  • Contribute to engineering design assignments on multi‑disciplinary water and wastewater projects.

  • Support project planning, coordination, reporting, and documentation for a variety of water infrastructure initiatives.

  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, presentations, and project deliverables.

  • Participate in field activities including hydrant flow tests, pressure monitoring, flow monitoring, and construction review.

  • Develop engineering calculations and design inputs such as head loss, thrust calculations, sewage design sheets, and more.

  • Assist with hydraulic modelling using tools such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater, InfoWorks, PC‑SWMM, EPANET, HAMMER and related software.

  • Contribute to concept, preliminary, and detailed design packages for municipal water and sewer systems.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders, prepare permit applications, and support Class EA processes.

  • Support condition assessments, asset management assignments, and operational improvement initiatives for municipal clients.

  • Apply engineering principles to the design and implementation of pump stations, reservoirs, elevated tanks, and treatment facilities.


The Skills That Set You Apart



  • Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited Canadian university.

  • Eligibility for EIT designation and interest in pursuing P.Eng. in Ontario.

  • Passion for solving municipal water challenges including basement flooding, capacity constraints and water quality issues.

  • Experience or familiarity with hydraulic modelling, municipal infrastructure design, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, GIS platforms, or computational modelling tools.

  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, teamwork, and a strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and thrive in a dynamic project environment.

  • Valid driver’s licence is considered an asset.

Compensation


AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 – $88,400


MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800


NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $60,300 – $80,000


Disclosure: The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
