Construction Labourer
Civil Construction, Utility Construction
Vancouver, BC
$24-$34/hour, based on experience
We are looking for a civil Labourer to ensure that work sites are clean, well organized and ensure work crews have everything they need to get the job done.
Job duties:
- Perform physical labour in a variety of different construction projects
- Loading and unloading equipment
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
- Loading, unloading and cleanliness of vehicle and equipment
- Operating hand and power tools of all types
- Maintain, clean and basic daily maintenance of equipment and tools
- Will require some hand digging on site when needed
- Reviewing site drawings and confirming site details
Qualifications:
- Previous civil construction environment
- Comfortable around heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work shift work when needed
- Willing to work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation starts at $24 -34 per hour + Extended medical and dental, Pay overtime and Christmas bonuses, Easter and Boxing are paid days off and 5-day sick paid.
