Position Summary
This position supports a group of private practice physicians in a healthcare setting.
Based in Saint John, New Brunswick, the Radiology physician team is seeking a Business Manager to support and partner with its Radiologists and clinical leadership. This position supports a group of private practice physicians in a healthcare setting.
Reporting closely to the Chief and Clinical Leadership Team, the Business Manager will serve as a trusted accountability partner, operational leader, and strategic advisor. This role is ideal for a self-starting, strategic professional who thrives in healthcare environments and is motivated to make a meaningful impact in diagnostic imaging services.

The Radiology group in Saint John, New Brunswick provides essential imaging services in support of patient care across the regional health system. The group works closely with clinical partners, hospital leadership, and administrative teams to deliver high-quality, timely diagnostic services in a complex and evolving healthcare environment.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
Clinical & Leadership Support
- Act as a primary business, strategic, and operational partner to clinical leadership team
- Serve as an accountability partner in achieving departmental goals and performance targets
Operations & Administration
- Oversee day-to-day operations and administrative functions
- Support physician scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization
- Oversee radiology billing processes, reimbursement optimization, and financial performance
Process Improvement & Innovative Industry Leadership
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives across clinical and operational workflows
- Implement evidence-based solutions
- Leverage best practices from other radiology and healthcare organizations
- Support exploration and adoption of innovative approaches to image interpretation and workflow enhancement
- Act as a liaison with vendors, partners, and external stakeholders as needed
Advocacy & Health System Navigation
- Navigate and support interactions within the broader health network
- Engage in advocacy, lobbying, and relationship-building to advance radiology priorities
- Represent the group with professionalism in internal and external settings
What you'll need
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred but not required.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Experience in healthcare operations or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in business process improvement and health systems.

- Strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with Boards, stakeholders, management, and staff.
- Action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative in approach.
- Strong financial acumen, budgeting knowledge, and strategic judgment.
