310J / 310T Technician Direct Hire
Location: Burlington, ON
Salary: $32.50–$42.50/hr
Shift: Day shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Night shift 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM (40 hrs/week; minimal overtime)

Our client is a leading tank trailer company in Canada, specializing in tank sales, rentals, maintenance, and repair. As a Heavy-Duty Mechanic, you will work in a modern, state-of-the-art facility, maintaining and repairing truck trailers and tank equipment across a fast-paced, supportive shop environment. The company is R-Stamp and B-620 certified, an Ontario College of Trades employer, and a recognized leader in the tank trailer industry nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and reactive repairs on tank trailers and heavy trucks
Repair air, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, brake, and suspension systems
Assemble hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
Perform welding and fabrication: oxy-fuel, arc, MIG, soldering, and gas welding
Maintain wheel, brake, and chassis systems
Contribute to overall shop operations, safety, and compliance with Ontario inspection standards
Work on a fleet of 300+ tankers and trailers
Qualifications 310J / 310T Technician
Valid 310J or 310T license OR registered apprentice
2-3 years hands-on mechanical experience (apprentices acceptable)
Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy trucks and trailers
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
Physically fit for demanding trade work
Previous tank trailer experience is an asset, but on-site training provided
English required; legally authorized to work in Canada
