Job Description
Hamiota Feedlot Ltd. is currently accepting applications for a full-time Yard Supervisor. We are a Custom Feedlot, backgrounding and finishing up to 12,500 head of cattle. We are located 3 miles west of Hamiota, MB on Road #469. The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate and oversee the day-to-day equipment and infrastructure maintenance operations at the Hamiota Feedlot. Applicants must be punctual, reliable and have strong leadership skills. Electrical, plumbing, welding and cattle experience are assets.
Responsibilities
- Communicate closely with the Management team about finances and operations
- Follow and enforce safety procedures
- Oversee and direct equipment maintenance and repairs
- Oversee and direct infrastructure maintenance and repairs
- Yard staff supervision and direction
- Planning for seasonal repairs and maintenance with management team
- Direct management of the shop, including cleaning, re-stocking and maintenance
Benefits & Compensation
