**Boart Longyear is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Clerk to support our Drilling Services team.**
**Hourly Wage:**
$16.00/hr to $33.00/hr
**Job Responsibilities**
Exemplify a firm commitment to safety through the adherence to and implementation of EH&S policies and procedures.
Cooperate with supervisors and managers and actively lead and participate in Occupational Health and Safety Programs, Boart Longyearu2019s EHSMS and client programs.
Responsible for order entry to order fulfillment (accuracy, order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory count accuracy).
Receive requests from operations and fleet teams and inputs and fulfills orders for material, including coordinating delivery of material to rig site if required.
Responsible for accurate and timely receipt and issue of materials including daily completion of material transactions in ERP system.
Verifies material shipping records for accuracy, resolves material handling questions, and resolves concerns of shipping shortages and/or material overages, including addressing any issues/problems with warehouse inventory control through communication with vendors and/or freight carriers.
Maintains physical security of material and notifies supervisor of any suspected security issues.
Performs physical inventory counts as directed.
Complies with BLY inventory policies.
Package and send out completed orders to customers.
Mobilize and demobilize jobs when required.
Move heavy packages using forklift machinery.
Enter details of received delivery slips and requisitions into system.
Ensures stock is placed neatly on the shelves and that material status is clearly identifiable with bin location u2013 create bin locations when needed.
Complies with storing and safety load limits.
Ensures that lifting equipment is available and adheres to company guidelines on proper lifting techniques.
Maintain service records and inform supervisor when maintenance is due.
Complies with all import/export and transportation regulations and BLY policies including documentation, packing, shipping and reporting.
Complies with BLY EH&S policies and guidance regarding material handling techniques, hazardous material storage and shipment.
Demonstrate pro-active behavior in attempt to improve warehousing operations
Other related inventory tasks as directed.
**Education and Experience**
High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years warehouse experience
Experience in the drilling industry is considered an asset
Telephone and email communications skills
Proficient with computers, especially with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Oracle, or similar
Ability to work well as part of a team
Strong safety orientation
**Salary Range:**
$16.00/hr - $33.00/hr
