We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight and cargo across designated routes
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operational readiness
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transit
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
- Assist with warehouse operations including freight handling and inventory management when required
Experience
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related logistics roles
- Knowledge of forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in transportation industry
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision
