Truck Driver
Job Description
Earle M. Jorgensen Canada is looking for a career minded and safety conscious Commercial Delivery Driver for its North Bay operation.
General Function
1.1 Through remote supervision, drives a delivery truck or truck and trailer to make local and long run deliveries to customers, or to retrieve material from suppliers, or as directed by Company dispatch.
1.2 Under general supervision, will perform supporting warehouse duties as directed.
II. Position Requirements. Copies of requested documents are preferred.
2.1 A Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent).
2.2 Possess a minimum AZ License Class
2.3 A minimum of 2 years truck driving experience, flat deck preferred. To be verified by references and commercial drivers abstract.

III. Position Responsibilities:
3.1 Using company owned trucks and trailers to transport documents and materials as dispatched.
3.2 Successfully complete Orientation and Training and pass any related Performance Evaluations within the new hire probationary period.
3.3 Perform all job functions in accordance with the Company Quality Policy and Quality Work Instructions.
3.4 Perform all job functions in accordance with all Legislated Laws, and Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
3.5 Perform supporting warehouse duties as assigned by Management (Order Packaging, Dual Verifications, Inventory, Housekeeping, Grounds Keeping, etc.) Training provided as required.
3.6 Operate auxiliary equipment (ex: forklift, skid steer, lawn maintenance, overhead crane) to assist in all warehouse operations as needed. Training provided as required.
3.7 Report all Health & Safety and Quality Sub-Standard Conditions, Traffic Accidents or Violations and any Damage to Property as soon as practicable. Training provided as required.
3.8 Maintains Driver Logs (Paper and ELD) to meet Government Standards. Training provided as required.
3.9 Performs minor maintenance and repair to trucks or trailers as needed
IV. Reports to Operations Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.00-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
