Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse
Location: Burnaby, British Columbia
Employment Type: Casual, Part-Time, Full-Time, Travel Contracts Available
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates
We are hiring ER-certified Travel Registered Nurses for high-acuity Emergency Departments across British Columbia.
Compensation
- Housing allowance provided
- Travel/mileage reimbursement
- Overtime per site agreement
Assignments
- 8–13 week contracts
- Hospital-based Emergency Departments
- No floating outside specialty
Current certifications:
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Room experience in a high-acuity hospital setting
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – preferred
- CTAS (Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale) – preferred
Preferred Experience
- Tertiary or high-volume Emergency Department experience
- Stroke and cardiac emergency management
- Pediatric emergency care
- Experience within Fraser Health facilities
