We are looking for experienced Security Officers to join our Tactical Mobile team In this role, you will conduct emergency responses to alarms, report security breaches and property damage, and direct unauthorized individuals to leave the premises. You will be driving a Paladin vehicle and conduct foot patrols inside and outside of facilities, up and down stairs, and over uneven surfaces and terrains.

Your pay rate will start at $32.00/hour during training, increasing to $34.00/hour through probation, and increasing again to $37.00/hour after successful completion of the 3-month probation. You will be working 12-hour shifts on a rotational basis.

**Responsibilities**

Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of client facilities; provide access control as needed
Respond to alarms, accident calls, and emergencies at client facilities within designated time frames
Escalate and report issues to the Security Command Centre in a timely manner
Dispatch and work with first responders (police/fire/ambulance)
Write detailed incident reports for security incidents that occur during shift
Build rapport with surrounding businesses to heighten the level of security
Use discretion when handling confidential information
Handle all incidents in a professional and calm demeanor
Other duties as required to meet operational demands

**Requirements**

Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the security industry
Advanced Security Training (AST)
Valid Intermediate First Aid Training (Occupational First Aid Level 2)
Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and a clean driving abstract
Intermediate computer skills
Availability to work days and nights, 12-hour shifts on a 4-day rotation
Excellent customer service, professionalism, and communication
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Must be able to commit to a minimum of 1 year
