JOB TITLE:SERVICE DESK ANALYST
LOCATION: ONSITE, OTTAWA
CONTRACT FOR 2 YEARS POSSIBLE EXTENSION
ENGLISH AND FRENCH MANDATORY
SERVICES
The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services to the Bank:
Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Service Desk;
• Prepare and deploy Windows 11 laptops using Microsoft Managed Desktop (MMD) standards, including Autopilot enrollment and configuration profiles
• Unbox, assemble, and set up laptops, docks, and peripherals at user workstations or staging areas
• Safely back up and transfer user data, profiles, and settings from legacy devices to new laptops using approved tools and processes
• Record and update asset information in inventory systems, including device assignment, status, and lifecycle tracking
• Provide onsite or remote support during deployment, including user orientation, login assistance, and basic troubleshooting
• Retire legacy devices by performing secure data wipes, updating asset records, and preparing hardware for disposal or redeployment
• Verify devices meet security, patching, and compliance requirements (e.g., encryption, policies, updates) before and after deployment
• Other related activities and deliverables as required
Required Qualifications & Skills
The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:
• University degree or a college diploma in information technology
• A minimum of one (1) year of recent work experience in an information technology service desk, operational environment
• A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated customer service experience
• A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience with Microsoft 0365
Additional Qualifications
The following will also be considered:
• Excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated experience interacting with individuals at various levels in an organization
