Service Coordinator
Job Description
Top Tech Mechanical Ltd. is looking for a Service Coordinator to support daily operations in a busy environment. The Company is seeking a candidate with strong multi-tasking and communication skills to support its high-level service to customers. The position will involve timely responses to customer requests, scheduling of multiple jobs, communication to management, and daily follow up to ensure all work has been dispatched. The successful candidate will take pride in their work and understand that they are integral to the successful operation of the Company.
Job Duties
- Answer phones
- Communicate with customers via phone and email
- Schedule work and create work orders electronically using Jobber (job management system)
- Effectively dispatch technicians to appropriate jobs
- Timekeeping for field technicians – ensuring time is allocated properly across completed jobs
- Light bookkeeping duties such as invoicing, entering accounts payable, etc. may be required
Required Skills
- Strong ability to multi-task; must be able to keep track of details in a busy work environment and communicate those details in a timely manner
- Ability to prioritize and action time sensitive requests
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions within established guidelines
- Experience with Quickbooks and Jobber considered an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- dispatching: 1 year (preferred)
