Location: Barrie, ON (must be local)
Travel: Required (daily travel from Barrie to job sites)
PureLinc Cleanrooms is looking for a Senior Skilled Tradesperson / PVC Installer to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced installer with strong finishing skills and the ability to work independently on detailed PVC installations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of PVC installation experience
OR 3–5 years of experience in a high-quality finishing trade
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle
- Must be able and willing to drive from Barrie to job sites daily (GTA)
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of lifting materials and working on ladders/scaffolding
- Must be reliable, punctual, and prepared with tools as required
Responsibilities
- PVC wall and ceiling installation
- PVC room layout and preparation
- Adhesive application ("sticking" PVC)
- PVC welding
- Thermoforming and use of a heat table
- Problem-solving complex installation details
- Loading and handling tools/materials
- Cleaning and preparing job sites
- Set-up and take-down of ladders/scaffolding and temporary structures
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Preferred Qualifications (Assets)
- PVC installation certification (3-day installation certification)
- Journeyman-level installation experience
- Experience in cleanroom, FRP, or commercial interior construction
