About the Project
We are an expanding Yukon placer mining operation controlling multiple contiguous claims in the Dawson district. The operation is transitioning from validation-stage mining into scalable production with planned winter stripping and high-volume seasonal washing. We are seeking a senior placer geologist on a consulting basis to help validate ground, reduce stripping risk, and support disciplined expansion decisions.
Required Skills & Experience
- BSc in Geology
- Registered P.Geo (Yukon eligibility preferred)
- 7+ years placer/alluvial gold experience
- Direct experience in Yukon or similar northern placer systems
- Demonstrated experience interpreting drill data in fluvial systems
- Strong understanding of:
- Paleochannel reconstruction
- Bench development
- False bedrock identification
- Bedrock trap controls
- Permafrost impacts on deposit geometry
