Senior Network Analyst
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Senior Network Analyst to support the reliability, performance, and security of enterprise-wide network, voice, and collaboration systems.
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure leadership team, this role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining modern network and unified communications solutions that support a highly distributed workforce. The successful candidate will also act as a technical advisor on vendor partnerships, new technologies, and enterprise-level initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement secure, scalable enterprise network solutions in collaboration with architects and internal stakeholders.
- Lead the administration, optimization, and ongoing support of LAN (wired and wireless) and WAN environments.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, edge security devices, and related infrastructure.
- Deploy and manage Cisco technologies, including Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), and supporting tools.
- Evaluate and optimize network resources to improve compliance, performance, and efficiency.
- Develop network architecture roadmaps and provide guidance on future growth and technology adoption.
- Ensure network environments align with internal security and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with Managed Services and Cloud partners on security, connectivity, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in projects involving enterprise networks, unified communications, cloud infrastructure, security technologies, and emerging solutions.
What You Bring
- Minimum of
8 years of hands-on design and implementation experience
in a Cisco-focused LAN and WAN environment. - Strong expertise with Cisco technologies including ISE, routers, switches, wireless controllers, and access points.
- Cisco certifications such as
CCNP (Routing & Switching, Wireless, or Security)
are strong assets; progress toward CCIE considered beneficial. - Intermediate to advanced experience in network security across LAN/WAN, VPN, cloud connectivity, Cisco Umbrella, and Azure networking.
- Advanced understanding of Cisco technologies including IPSEC, QoS, VPN tunnels, ASA/FTDs, wireless controllers, and SD-Access components.
- Strong knowledge of core network protocols including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSH, SFTP, and related security concepts (NAT/PAT, SSL, DDoS, spoofing, etc.).
- Experience with network monitoring and performance tools such as Cisco ThousandEyes is considered an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting ability and comfort handling issues in high-pressure situations.
- Effective communicator with strong organization skills and experience collaborating using Microsoft Teams or similar platforms.
