THE ROLE


As a Senior Operations Manager (Programs/Services) at CFMWS within our Personnel Support Programs (PSP) team, you will be at the forefront of spearheading strategic initiatives and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations. From optimizing processes to fostering a commitment to exceptional customer service, you will play a leading role in delivering programs and services to your clients – members of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families.


In this role, you will be a strategic business leader, skilled in planning and managing the operations and delivery of all programs and services, including hospitality (messes), physical fitness, sports, recreation, health promotion, special interest activities and community service programs. You understand the value of building strong relationships and will be the trusted advisor for your team and external stakeholders at your location.


You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our business plans and financial objectives are met. You will report and recommend corrective actions for any discrepancies, ensuring our operations stay on track. Your expertise in developing and implementing budgets and business plans will be crucial as you monitor revenues and expenses to maintain financial health. You will control assets and authorize financial transactions within the approved budget, ensuring responsible financial management.

Qualifications Needed


Education, Certifications and Licenses


Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Physical Education, Recreation, or Health Promotion, AND several years of management experience in a related field.
