Position Overview
The Inside Sales Digital Marketing Specialist supports small and medium‑size businesses (SMBs) in maximizing the value of their digital and social media advertising investments. This role combines customer engagement, consultative sales, and digital marketing expertise to help clients improve campaign performance, grow revenue, and strengthen their online presence. The position requires high‑volume outbound calling, strong relationship‑building skills, and the ability to tailor advertising solutions to client goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of SMB advertisers, focusing on revenue growth and product adoption.
- Conduct proactive outbound calls and respond to client inquiries via phone and email.
- Develop a strong understanding of clients’ business models, marketing objectives, and industry verticals.
- Identify sales opportunities and provide tailored advertising solutions to meet client goals.
- Advise clients on optimizing their digital marketing campaigns to improve performance and ROI.
- Build long‑term client relationships through consultative selling and strategic recommendations.
- Analyze campaign performance and share actionable insights to increase investment and retention.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends, competitor products, and platform enhancements.
- Troubleshoot client issues while maintaining high service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Consistently exceed quarterly sales targets through disciplined outreach and client engagement.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 2 year of sales experience (relationship sales, ad sales, or digital marketing sales).
- Minimum 4 years of total work experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous inside sales experience handling inbound and outbound calling.
- Quota‑based sales experience with proven impact on performance and revenue.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, online advertising, and campaign optimization.
- Ability to build strong customer relationships and cross/upsell effectively.
- Experience working with North American clients.
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills with a solution‑focused mindset.
- Ability to multitask across multiple systems and tools.
- Strong grammar, typing accuracy, and professional written communication.
- Highly detail‑oriented, motivated, and adaptable to evolving business needs.
- Ability to work analytically and creatively in a fast‑paced environment.
