Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description

CONTRACT: 6 months, with chance for extension (but no permanent potential, this is a project based hire)
SETUP: Hybrid - 4 days/week in office for training, then 3/days in office thereafter
START DATE: ASAP

Responsibilities:
Lead and support finance-related projects, including system testing and data validation, to ensure accuracy and functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business and functional requirements for systems and reporting.
Perform detailed financial analysis (e.g., variance and trend analysis, key performance metrics) to generate insights that support decision-making.
Provide ad-hoc research and analysis to support senior management and assist with periodic financial reporting and other related tasks as needed.

About You
Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA) or an MBA
Experience with Workday (financial module)
Proven accounting experience, with strong background in debits/credits
Strong Excel skills (data validation, reconciliations, report validation)
