Job Description:

Delta Security Services is currently seeking reliable and professional Security Guards to support safety and security operations at Brampton. We are looking for individuals who are atentive, alert, respectful, punctual, and confident in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities Include:

• Monitor premises using CCTV systems, conduct regular surveillance patrols to identify suspicious activity or security breaches and ensure the safety of people, property, and assets.
• Control access points by verifying credentials and enforce site-specific security policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to incidents by applying conflict management techniques and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain situational awareness and assess threats using approved use-of-force and de-escalation protocols.
• Preserve detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for reporting purposes.
• Utilize security equipment responsibly, including radios, body-worn equipment, first aid, and incident containment when required.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and intervening according to established protocols.
• Maintain a professional, disciplined appearance and conduct at all times while representing the company and client.
• Comply with all aplicable provincial regulations, company policies, and client requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement related fields is highly desirable.
• Certification in First Aid/CPR, or other emergency response training is required.
• Must possess clean Driving Abstract.
• Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and conducting visual inspections.
• Ability to manage conflicts effectively while remaining calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of security protocols, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and accurately
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as required.
