Commissionaires BC is currently looking for security professionals to work at the Kelowna International Airport (YLW).
Shifts available:
- Wednesday to Sunday 2300 - 0700
- Wednesday & Thursday 2200 - 0600
Wage: $22.66/hour
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Interior and exterior patrols
- Offering first class customer service to both clients and general public
- Access Control
- CCTV Monitoring
- Curbside traffic control
- Cart collection
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
- Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
- Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
Your Must-Haves:
- BC Security License
- Clear criminal record with ability to obtain airport clearances: RAIC and AVOP
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and work both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions
Your Nice-To-Haves:
- Bylaw level 1
- You have resided in Canada for the last five years
- Hold Basic or Intermediate First Aid (OFA 1 or 2)
- Moderate computer skills
