SAP EPPM (PPM and PS) Functional Consultant
This is a 12-month contract opportunity with a large utility provider in Saskatchewan. There is a good chance of contract renewal.
Key Details
Role Title: SAP Functional Consultant
Duration: 12+ months
Planned Start Date: January 5, 2026
Work Location: Flexible , with both onsite (Regina, Sask.) and offsite/remote considered. Onsite is preferred, and cost is a significant factor.
Work Hours: 40 hours weekly. Off-site resources must work a minimum of 4 hours overlap with the client's standard business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday).
On-call/Overtime: Not required/anticipated.
Mandatory Qualifications
Mandatory Education/Certifications: SAP EPPM certifications.
Mandatory Experience: Experience in implementing SAP EPPM (PPM and PS) solutions in large or medium organizations.
Desired Qualifications
Seniority: Intermediate is the target level.
Note: Intermediate corresponds to 4-5 years of relevant experience.
Education/Certifications: Post-secondary education in computer technology (BSc, MSc). Relevant SAP Functional and/or Academy Training/Certification.
Experience: 3–5 years relevant SAP experience, including implementation, upgrade, support, and maintenance. Demonstrated record of continuous improvement.
Role Responsibilities
The SAP Functional Consultant specializes in implementing and configuring SAP software. Responsibilities include:
Translating business requirements into SAP system configurations.
Providing day-to-day configuration related support, maintenance, research, and development of the SAP System.
Planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of SAP configuration changes.
Training company employees on how to use SAP software effectively.
Documenting configuration, functional specifications, and business processes (blueprinting).
Providing leadership in developing new solutions in the SAP landscape.
Testing system performance and managing support tickets.
Evaluation Criteria Weighting
The resource will be evaluated on the following categories:
Resource Qualifications (technologies, certifications, education, experience): 40.0%
Contract Price (rate, expenses, early payment discount): 37.5%
Contract Needs (availability, on-site/off-site, work week): 20.0%
Indigenous Participation: 2.5%
Candidate Submission Requirements

Completed Pay Rate Form.
Completed Reference Form.
Completed and signed Conflict of Interest Declaration.
Confirmation that the candidate is incorporated or will be if selected.
Confirmation regarding their legal Canadian working status.
Confirmation if the candidate will work onsite or remote.
Confirmation that the candidate is aware a Criminal/Security Check will be required.
