Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Roofer/Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with roofing projects and general labor tasks on residential and commercial sites. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills in the construction industry. Prior experience in roofing or carpentry is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. This position offers an opportunity to develop hands-on skills in roofing, blueprint reading, and construction techniques while contributing to high-quality projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and power tools
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, plywood, and other roofing components
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate installation
- Use caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
- Support carpentry tasks related to framing, sheathing, or structural repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and debris removal
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on site
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Experience
- Prior experience with hand tools, construction, or carpentry work is preferred
- Knowledge of blueprint reading is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
- Handyman experience or familiarity with caulking and sealing techniques is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures and practices
- Motivated individuals eager to learn new skills in roofing and construction are encouraged to apply

Pay: $22.00-$40.00 per hour
