Job DescriptionFLINT is seeking Journeyperson Rig Welder with minimum 2 years' industrial welding experience for a permanent role in Conklin/Christina Lake, Alberta starting March 17, 2026. In this position, you will enjoy a 7 Days In & 7 Days Out schedule, 12-hour workdays, camp accommodation, $300 per week travel pay, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.
Qualifications- Minimum 2 years' welding experience in O&G or heavy industrial maintenance environments.
- Valid Journeyperson Welder certificate/ticket.
- Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
- H2S Alive
- Aerial Work Platform
- Confined Space Entry
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Fall Protection
- Standard First Aid
- WHMIS
- Possess the mandatory welding tickets:
- B-Pressure
- CWB
- Must have a fully equipped welding truck with valid registration and insurance.
- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
