About Us
Westmount Pool & Spa is a family-owned and operated business serving the Guelph and surrounding communities. We specialize in swimming pools, hot tubs, water care, and related products. We are seeking motivated, customer-focused Retail Sales Associates who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoy delivering exceptional service.
Industry experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong retail and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and build long-term customer relationships
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
- Perform in-store water testing and analysis (training provided)
- Process sales transactions and handle payments accurately
- Answer and direct phone calls professionally
- Assist with merchandising, stocking, and inventory management
- Receive, unpack, and price incoming shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe retail environment
- Support daily store operations and work collaboratively with team members
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year retail experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to stand for extended periods and climb ladders/step stools
- Knowledge of pools and hot tubs considered an asset
