Job Description

The Lead Restoration Technician at CleanFirst Restoration is responsible for managing and executing mold remediation, asbestos abatement (Type 2 and Type 3), attic remediation, and water damage projects from start to finish while ensuring safety, containment integrity, quality control, and crew productivity. This role leads and supervises technicians on-site, sets up and inspects proper containment and negative air systems, enforces PPE and regulatory compliance, oversees hazardous material removal and decontamination procedures, and ensures all work is completed according to CleanFirst’s standards and Ontario regulations. The Lead Technician conducts client walkthroughs, communicates scope and progress professionally, maintains organized equipment and job documentation, and is accountable for completing projects on time, within budgeted labor hours, and without callbacks. This position requires strong leadership, hands‑on field experience in restoration or abatement, attention to detail, and the ability to represent CleanFirst professionally while driving efficiency and quality on every job.


Qualifications



  • Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs

  • Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces

  • Comfortable wearing respirator & PPE for extended periods
