Title: Regional Executive Director, Clinical and Wholistic Services
Salary: $141,038 - $165,927 - $190,817 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (core hours 9am-3pm Monday-Friday)
Location: Vancouver Island Regional Office (Ladysmith, BC)
Work Model: This is an on-site position that is not eligible for hybrid or remote work
About The Role
In this NEWLY created position, the Regional Executive Director, Clinical and Wholistic Services provides executive level strategic support to the Vice President Regional Operations (VPRO), working in a shared leadership model with the Regional Executive Director and in partnership with Vancouver Island First Nations and within the Regional and Provincial FNHA structure, in clinical and client-facing service delivery within the Vancouver Island Region. This leader provides leadership and oversight of clinical, wholistic and client-facing programs and services with a vision of fully integrating primary care, nursing and other clinical programs and services with traditional and cultural approaches. This role leads work planning, risk mitigation, as well as establishing standards, processes, project management and frameworks.
In this role, the leader develops and strengthens internal and external partnerships as well as leads and/or supports region-wide initiatives, as related to clinical, traditional wellness and wholistic client-facing programs and services. The leader will also attend a wide variety of meetings, conferences and gatherings with key internal and external stakeholders as related to regional clinical and wholistic services and operations
The leader provides executive level strategic and operational leadership to multiple clinical dimensions of the Region consisting of various service areas or teams, including administrative, financial and management responsibilities and accountabilities to achieve clinical and operational efficiency; and provides leadership and supervision to staff members including Directors, Managers, specialists, and other staff.
About You – Job Specifications
Education & Occupational Certification/Licensing
Masters' degree in relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Registration and good standing with an appropriate College or Professional Regulatory Body (e.g., BCCNM, CPSBC, CIPHI, etc.).
A graduate-level degree in a health-related field is an asset.
Experience
Significant, recent and relevant experience including progressively responsible senior level strategic and clinical operational planning in a similar sized organization, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (usually acquired over a period of 10-15 years).
Experience working with First Nation organizations and leadership.
Experience in leading clinical operational programs, services and activities.
Experience in process development, improvement and delivery model optimization initiatives.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
