Job Overview
We are an agency operator of a car rental company and are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, supporting project management activities, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with various software tools, and the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently. The Administrator will play a key role in maintaining records, facilitating procurement processes, and supporting organisational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate administrative services
- Evaluate the operations of a department providing administrative services
- Manage the operations of a department providing several administrative services
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
- Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, Human Resources, or other administrative services
- Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Plan,administer and control budgets for client projects,contracts, equipment and supplies
- Organise and maintain inventory
- Supervise office and volunteer staff
Qualifications
- Proven experience in administrative roles or office management is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Microsoft Access, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated analysis skills and attention to detail for data management and reporting.
- Experience with databases, records management, filing systems, procurement processes, and negotiation is desirable.
- Strong computer skills across Windows operating systems
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $36.10 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
Work Location: In person
