Position Overview:
The Project Coordinator is a permanent full-time, out-of-scope position. This position is responsible for assisting in several operations and construction areas including construction management, project management, procurement and increasing efficiencies through project planning and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that optimal supply chain management procedures are followed.
- Ensure that staff's time is utilized efficiently, and that people are routed effectively to maximize their productivity and minimize wasted time and effort with project scheduling.
- Preparation of documents required for approvals, estimates, tender documents, change orders, and contracts
- Ensuring documentation is maintained throughout the length of the project
- Communicating plans, actions, risks, and issues with key stakeholders
- Coordinate the resolution of issues that may arise during the project
- Managing and building relationships with multiple teams
- Assisting the Construction Manager with administrative functions and processes
- Managing day-to-day activities for the project
- Analyzing project data and producing progress reports
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with schedules, budgets, safety and quality control standards
- Assist in inventory tracking updates on tools and equipment
- Manage project procurement during planning, construction, and post-construction
- Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly project updates
Qualifications:
- Previous industrial experience in the construction and project coordination.
- Recognized certificate, diploma or degree in Construction Technology or Project Management.
- High-level communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must possess leadership, organizational, supervisory skills, as well as the ability to work with and through others to ensure that the desired results are received
- Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of Procore is an asset
- Must successfully pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
- Possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License - preference will be given to candidates with a clean driving record (driving abstract required)
Working Conditions:
- Must work independently and accurately in an environment with regular interruption.
- At times, must manage a heavy workload while meeting multiple deadlines, adjusting priorities as needed.
- Repetitive work at a computer in an office setting
- Travel to/from/within various jobsites
- Travel across Saskatchewan when required
- May be required to work outside regular work hours
- Daily exposure to construction environment (heavy equipment, inclement weather, etc.)

Pay: $70,562.72-$87,579.52 per year
