Job Description

We are seeking a Premium Services Coordinator to join our Food & Beverage department. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, this senior leadership role is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences across all Suites and Catering events at the Avenir Centre. You will oversee operational excellence, financial performance, and service standards, ensuring every guest receives a premium experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, development, and execution of Catering events with Culinary leadership and clients.
  • Partner with the Culinary team to elevate service standards, presentation, and fan experience.
  • Collaborate with clients to create customized menus, service plans, and event details.
  • Manage relationships with internal departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Oversee accurate event and non-event menu order entry and management.
  • Coordinate food orders, staffing, and operational readiness in partnership with Executive and Sous Chefs.
  • Hire, train, schedule, mentor, and manage Premium Services staff.
  • Develop and implement departmental training programs on service standards and operational procedures.
  • Maintain inventory controls, product security, and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Establish and enforce premium service standards across all operations.
  • Monitor financial performance, including cost of sales, labor, and revenue optimization.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and broader operational projects.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
  • Assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining staff.
  • Resolving complaints and operational issues in line with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field is an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years' supervisory/leadership experience in catering, hotel room service, or restaurant management.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor and motivate diverse teams.
  • Smart Serve and WHMIS certification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage trends and strong customer service focus.
