Job Description
We are currently looking for outgoing energetic individuals to join our knowledgeable and driven construction/service teams in our Peterborough location.
Qualifications
Basic:
- Ability to engage customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Can engage appropriately and work as part of a team
- Capacity to work independently and seek out assistance as required
- Punctuality and willingness to work some Saturdays as required
- Valid G license with acceptable driving record preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Note:
- Experience is not required, starting compensation will be based on experience
- Prior experience in the pool and spa industry is considered an asset
- Experience in physical labor is an asset
- Experience with concrete forming/finishing is an asset
- Must be able to work 5-6 days a week
Duties for the position are as follows:
- Maximizing customer experience by providing exceptional customer service
- Inground and on-ground pool installation including but not limited to: landscaping and site preparation, applying and constructing concrete/finishing concrete, installing plumbing and equipment for pools and installing vinyl liners
- Pool renovations
- Possible operation of truck, trailer, forklift and/or other equipment
- Utilizing Sterling Pools and Spas method of opening and closing Inground, On-ground and Above ground pools
- Handling and applying various chemicals for pools and spas appropriately
- Conducting weekly maintenance, such as, vacuuming, leaf-skimming and chemical analysis
