Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide support to our Residents daily living activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with Seniors, ensuring their comfort and dignity. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our Residents within our Personal Care Home.
This Role is a 6H Shift but in the event someone is off, sick or on holiday, It is used to bounce into the 12 H Shift.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
~Compassionate and cares about the dignity of each resident
~Possesses patience and understanding when dealing with residents
~Able to kneel, bend, stoop and lift repeatedly
~Must have good listening skills
~Knowledge of dementia care techniques is highly desirable.
~Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
